Day Seventy-Six Photos, Part II

The sand dunes on the beach were green with vegetation.

The birds were enjoying the tasty morsels that the waves washed up on the shore.

Here it is, seventy-six days in the making: the ritual dip of the front wheel in the Pacific Ocean. I had ridden over 3,000 miles since I dipped my rear wheel in the Atlantic Ocean at Tybee Island, Georgia.

Yikes! It looks like I  underestimated the waves. This was a deeper dip than I had intended.

Back on relatively dry land, this was the view to the north.

Here's another view of Morro Rock with some anonymous beach walkers.

Morro Rock is 575 feet high. I like the reflection in this shot.
