Prescott Photos, Part III

This 1907 statue by Solon Hannibal Borglum (" America's First Cowboy Sculptor" ) on the courthouse square honored the " Rough Riders" who fought in the Spanish-American War.

Here's a view from the other side.

I really enjoyed reading the Arizona/Yavapai County timeline on the sidewalk in front of the courthouse.

This map of Yavapai County was at the foot of the timeline.

This close-up of the timeline shows the Arizona state flag that marks the day Arizona became a state.

One bar had a neon sign for Fat Tire Ale, a cyclist's favorite.

Prescott also had a Carnegie library, though it was converted to offices when a larger library was built. Notice the steepness of the road (Gurley Street).
