Kingman Photos, Part III

The County Jail was built before the courthouse in 1910 but no longer in use.

This dramatic angle shows the jail with the courthouse in the background.

I wondered what sort of mischief had required this sign to be posted.

The statue in front of the courthouse remembered those who served in  World War I.

Now a museum and gift shop,  this building was St. Mary's Catholic Church from 1906-1967. It was made from the same tufa stone used a few years later for the courthouse.

Although the mailboxes remained, this 1935 post office was no longer used by the U.S. Postal Service. Instead, it housed city offices.

Just as there was a " J" for Jerome and a " P" for " Prescott" , I found a " K" for Kingman.
