Day Sixty-Three Photos, Part V

The 66 Outpost was the first gas station or cafe since Truxton.

I took a break from fighting the wind to buy a Coke at the mini-mart.

I couldn't tell what this was, perhaps some kind of maintenance train.

This shot looked back toward Hackberry. Route 66 was straight as an arrow for 20 miles coincidentally westbound 66 was straight into the wind, too.

I never saw a corral for wild horses and burros before.

There wasn't much to see, though.

At the Kingman Airport, this sign directed cars to " travel my way, take the highway that's the best," even if only to get to the interstate.
