The Art Deco Texas Theatre looked sharp.

On the other hand, the Midway Drive In Theatre looked like it had seen better days.

Now playing at the Midway: nothing.

I stayed at the Ranch House Motel. I think the pick-up trucks " make" this picture.

A tankful of sweet water?

Cotton compressors are notoriously flammable--the first one in the State of Texas blew up. Hence the " No Smoking" sign.
