This is a close-up of the horse sculpture pictured above. I joked that it demonstrated an important  military lesson--what to do in case of a nuclear attack: bend over and kiss your butt goodbye. |
The Zuni Motel was a neat old place. The Taste of Europe restaurant was in the building in the background. In smaller towns out west, I noticed several such " European" restaurants, hinting that there wasn't a big enough market for more specialized cuisine from one country. |
