Prescott Photos, Part II

The Yavapai County Courthouse was situated in the center of town.

Here is a close-up of the Viet Nam veteran's memorial in the foreground above.

I couldn't find any information about this statue on the courthouse square. One might have expected the plaque in front to describe it, but it just said, " Please remain outside fenced area."

This was a view of the courthouse from the east  side.

Since Prescott was the first capital of Arizona, it was appropriate that the town had a statehood tree, planted February 14, 1912.

The statehood tree was celebrating its 90th year.

The north side of the courthouse had a somewhat different look, lacking the triangle of the other sides.
