I still had to go around a curve and up a hill before I reached the actual town. |
The Palo Pinto County Courthouse was definitely the highlight of the town. |
However, the old jail was pretty interesting, too. |
This former gas station just off the courthouse square was home to an insurance agency. |
The Palo Pinto Cafe was closed and for sale. The County Seat Grocery & Grill (and motel) across the street (not shown) appeared to be thriving. |
