Magdalena Photos, Part II

This " ghost sign" for the Quality Food Market touted Creamland dairy products.

Evett's Cafe was a good  place for a hamburger.

The bank that originally occupied the Evett's building closed in the Great Depression.

How could one resist that tasty dish on the window?

I had never heard of Darrow's Quality Chek'd Ice Cream before.

The other side of the sign was more colorful but still faded.

As the sign said, Evett's was right in the center of town, at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue (US 60).

The Trails End Market was where I stocked up on food and fluids on Sunday morning.
