Built around 1908, the Brunswick Hotel was one of Kingman's oldest establishments.

The old Kingman train station, still used by Amtrak, was being renovated.

St. John's United Methodist Church was built in 1917. Movie stars Clark Gable and Carole Lombard were married there in 1939.

The Mohave County Courthouse was beautifully set at the end of a tree-lined street.

The courthouse was made  of locally quarried tufa stone.

Looking up from the foot of the  Neo-Classical Revival  courthouse, it was easy to forget that  I was in the American Southwestern desert.
