Day Forty-Seven Photos, Part III

As ominously dark gray clouds passed overhead, I took a few pictures of Pie Town.

Here is a close-up of the sign above.

Ten minutes later, I looked back but Pie Town was already gone. On an artistic note, I love the way the sunset-lit highway contrasts with the gray clouds.

The Mangas Mountains rose to the south. This might have been Alegros Mountain.

This was a rarity on my trip--a sunset photograph. Usually by sundown I was either eating or napping. This time I was still on the road.

Here's another sunset picture for good measure. Soon after, I was riding in darkness and stopped taking pictures.
