Day Forty-Two Photos, Part II

This sign explained that the bridge was originally built over the Pecos River and later moved here. It was the longest and oldest of its kind remaining in the state.

This straight-on view shows how narrow the bridge was.

Rio Hondo wasn't much of a river by Midwest standards, but unlike most rivers in New Mexico, it had flowing water.

I stopped in at this general store/BBQ joint in Tinnie for lunch. The banana pudding was excellent.

I didn't use the restroom, but I liked the little yellow outhouse drawing.

Just after turning right onto US 380, I saw this sign marking the highway as the Billy The Kid Scenic Byway.

I encountered some wet pavement, but the sun was shining on the mountains to the west.

A few miles later, the skies above were brighter, but gray  clouds loomed to the west.
