Day Thirty-Six Photos, Part II

Still more clouds.

I spied this small metal sign on a fence by the side of the road.

Here is a close-up of the sign: " In God we will trust."

This panoramic view shows lots and lots of oil pumps in the distance.

The only settlement in the 75 miles between Hobbs and Artesia was the tiny oil town of Loco Hills.

I replenished my supplies at the only store in town.

I wondered if the Lions Club in Loco Hills was still active, or just a faded memory like this sign.

The Turkey Track Ranch had an impressive number of ranch rodeo awards.

Yikes! I was glad I wasn't headed that way.
