The popular Lone Star is incorporated into this sign for Ennis, " Where Railroads and Cotton Fields Meet." Ennis is also known as " The Bluebonnet City of Texas," but I was a month too early to see them in bloom. |
The old Ennis depot now houses a visitor's center. |
The Ellis County Courthouse (1896) in Waxahachie was fantastic but undergoing repairs. |
