Gail, Texas

Gail is the seat of Borden County. Both were named for Gail Borden, who invented the process used to make Borden's condensed milk.

With fewer than 800 people, Borden County doesn't need a large courthouse.

This gas station turned variety store is made of local rock.

The Coyote Country Store is the only grocery store  in town.

Gail Mountain rises above  the west end of town.

It's hard to think of a coyote without picturing Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner.
